Led by certified fitness coach Britt MacKinnon, this full-body bodyweight workout focuses on functional movement that translates directly into real life. You’ll move, squat, push, and stabilize using just your body — building strength, mobility, and confidence without intimidation. Perfect for beginners and seasoned movers alike, Britt will offer personalized cues and modifications so you leave feeling capable, strong, and connected to your body.
45-Minute Yoga Session with Megan:
Explore an embodied yoga practice designed to slow the body and mind guided by movement instructor Megan Prenty. This gentle Asana class uses breath work and mindfulness to promote a sense of rest, relaxation and connection to self.
30- Minute Reflection Group Session:
A community-created conversation among participants will be led by Britt and Megan. We hope for this time to be an opportunity to connect, reflect and share in a circle among other women in our community.

Meet Megan
Megan is a Registered Massage Therapist and a 500 hour experienced yoga teacher and movement instructor. With fifteen years of experience teaching Megan's approach combines her love of anatomy, movement and self-care for clients.
Megan's classes blend breath, mindfulness, and movement to help create a sense of embodiment and presence through your practice. Her teachings focus on sharing a love of movement and anatomy, yoga philosophy, and educating clients on self-care practices.
Meet Britt
Britt MacKinnon is a certified personal trainer (since 2020) and fitness coach (since 2018) who specializes in functional movement to help women age with grace, maintain independence, and move confidently every day. She’s passionate about creating sustainable fitness routines that support women through perimenopause and menopause, emphasizing strength, mobility, and balance over quick fixes. Beyond physical wellness, Britt is a mental health advocate, inspiring women to honor their bodies, prioritize self-care, and find joy in movement at every stage of life.

She Rests, She Rises is an empowering International Women’s Day gathering designed for women to move, restore, and connect. The morning includes a bodyweight workout, yoga, and a women’s circle, offering a space to honor your body, nurture your mind, and celebrate community. 2. Is the workout and Yoga suitable for all fitness levels?
Yes! The workout is designed to be accessible to all fitness levels. Whether you're new to exercise or an experienced fitness enthusiast, you'll be able to follow along at your own pace.
3. What should I bring to the event?
Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and comfortable workout clothes, Indoor shoes if you would like them.
4.. How long is the event?
The event lasts 2 hours. We’ll start with a full-body workout, followed by Yoga, and finish with a guided women’s circle.
5. What is the refund policy for tickets?
Tickets are non-refundable, but if you are unable to attend, you can transfer your ticket to someone else.
6. Who can attend this event?
This is a women’s gathering, and we welcome anyone who feels called to join. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where everyone can move, rest, and connect with community.
